1001 Reasons

Echo of Saturday evening: Here is the last few minutes of 2011’s Unsilent Night walk in New York City, from the moments when the parade crossed Avenue A, waiting for all the participants to assemble (so many this year!) through til the end.

The image is Soundbooth’s “Spectral Frequency Display” at about 7:30. The whistling looks especially strange, like long-exposure blurs on film.
